To celebrate the release of the latest version of the Superman saga, Man of Steel, we offer up 18 sexy arguments why Henry Cavill is the sexiest Clark Kent of them all.

Happy ogling, AFTER THE JUMP...

And in case you haven't seen the trailer yet, check out the latest version here.

Because he totally has that "million miles away stare" down pat...

Because he cleans up REAL good...

Because he does the heavy lifting...

Because he knows how to rock the "casual Sunday" look...

Because he can work a Medieval hairstyle like no one else...

Because he's not concerned about the elements...

Because, that bone structure...

Because he makes crucifixion, or whatever is happening here, look very appealing...

Because you can pretend he's not wearing any pants in this pic...

Because he can plunge his sword into me anytime...

Because ditto with his spear...

Because not even G-forces affect that beautiful mug...

Because his cleavage is furrier than everyone else's...

Because he even makes the grisled laundry hanger look work...

Because even chain mail can't hide what he's working with underneath...

Because he can wear the HELL out of a white shirt...

Because even when he looks worried he's still somehow commanding...

Some things don't require an explanation...

Children's Museum Demands Apology For Outcry Over Telling Gay Couple They're Not A Family

In a move that surprised few, The Hands On Children's Museum of Jacksonville, Florida, which recently told a gay couple they were not a family, is now claiming to be the real victim of unfair treatment and is demanding an apology.

In a statement, the museum says it is being slandered with false accusations and is overwhelmed with the amount of outcry online and over the phone. The museum says it couldn't possible discriminate against anyone because its policies are not discriminatory:

The Jacksonville “Hands On” Children’s Museum has never discriminated against anyone. But in fact the “Hands On” Children’s Museum , it’s employees, the board members, the donators and sponsors, the director, the directors family and her husbands church are being discriminated against, attacked and threatened. The director was yelled at and screamed at and feels the Hands On Children’s Museum deserves an apology for how the museum is being treated. This is a children’s museum.

Oh the logic of bigotry.

Two Men Sue City Of San Leandro And Police Over Sex Sting, Alleging Discrimination

The city of San Leandro, California and the San Leandro police department are being sued in federal court by two men who were arrested in June 2012 during an undercover sex sting that targeted gay men cruising a public bathroom near the San Leandro Marina, The Oakland Tribune reports:

Sanleandropolice2"While it's technically illegal to engage in sexual activity in a public place, targeting only gay men for the activity is troublesome and could be a valid example of discrimination, legal experts said.

In the lawsuit filed against San Leandro, Steven Mengel and Michael Woody accused city officials of purposely targeting only gay men in its effort to stop sexual activity in public places.

Furthermore, the men claim that the city caused emotional distress by distributing news releases identifying them and notifying the public that they had been arrested for attempting to conduct a lewd act in public."

Peter Renn, an attorney for Lamda Legal, spoke with the Tribune about the effects publicizing these arrests can have on the individuals:

"Publicizing the arrest has the effect of harassing and publicly humiliating someone who may very well be innocent. People shouldn't be tried and convicted through press releases."

The release of the names and photos of individuals arrested in such sex stings is not uncommon. Last year, 18 men were arrested in an undercover sting carried out by police in Manhattan Beach, California.  Their names and photos were subsequently published. As reported here, in recent years gay men have been targeted by sting raids in Boston, Palm Springs, New York, Newark, and Huntsville, among many others. At this time there does not appear to be any evidence to suggest that police departments across the country are equally concerned with lewd heterosexual behavior in public places.

WeHo's Infamous San Vicente Inn To Be Revamped

Renowned hotelier Jeff Klein has purchased the San Vicente Inn in West Hollywood, WEHOville is reporting. The 26-room, clothing optional hotel has long been considered a landmark in the LA gay community. However, in recent years, its' reputation has plummeted, becoming widely viewed as dilapidated and a drug den. The presence of a drug rehabilitation facility on the premises, KLEAN, has also soured some guests on the prospect of a stay at the Inn.

Klein, who owns the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood and the City Club Hotel in New York, seems to have made this acquisition of out of love. He told WEHONEWS:

"[The San Vicente Inn is] one of the most magical, special places in all of West Hollywood, and it deserves a lot of love and attention.”

Last week, all the current residents were evicted and renovation of the hotel is already under way. Klein vows the Inn will remain gay-friendly and clothing optional. By the terms of the new lease KLEAN will also be allowed to remain.
