Rostam (Batmanglij, of Vampire Weekend) goes on a meditative walkabout of New York City in his newest video, for the track “Gwan”.
In the slow motion clip, directed by Greg Brunkalla, Rostam walks around New York City. “I've had experiences where my life will try to tell me something in a dream—and sometimes it's something I'm not ready to hear,” Rostam said about the song in a press release. “So I think maybe this song is about trying to listen to what your subconscious mind is trying to say to you.”
