New Zealand rower Robbie Manson has followed in the footsteps of Tom Daley to become the second out gay man to qualify for the 2016 Olympics.

While both Daley and Manson competed in the 2012 Olympics, neither had come out at that point.

Outsports has noted that like gay skier Gus Kenworthy's rainbow goggles, Manson has taken to wearing a rainbow headband while competing.
