South Carolina state Sen. Just in time for Provincetown’s Bear Week – the summer’s biggest gathering of fur-loving gay men – comes “I Want a Bear” from Daddy B.
“I want a bear / a daddy, a cub / a furry body that’s all mine to rub / I want a bear / blue collar and able / to cook dinner/ and do me on the table! Woof!”
In a new promo for her E! reality series I Am Cait, Caitlyn Jenner is shown up close and personal with her family for the first time since transitioning.
The video is captioned, “Sometimes, it can take a lifetime, to start living.” And we can’t wait to watch Caitlyn start living this new life chapter.
Prepare for some serious side eye as former That’s So Raven lead and The View co-panelist Raven Symone faces off against Candace Cameron Bure of Full House fame in a heated debate over the anti-gay Oregon bakery that refused to bake a lesbian couple a wedding cake and was subsequently fined $135,000.
Vlogger Shane Dawson, who has more than 6.7 million followers on YouTube, came out as bisexual in a new video posted to his channel this week.
“I always wished that I was gay, that I was just 100 percent gay,” said Dawson. “But I’m not completely gay, and I can’t sit here and say that I am… but I also can’t sit here and say that I’m straight…I’ve come to the conclusion, through therapy and through being honest with myself, I am bisexual.”
In a new installment of “kids react”, kids between the ages of 6 and 13 react to news of the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling on same-sex marriage.

An 87-year-old Lynchburg, Virginia man this week received a letter that was postmarked 26 years ago. The letter had been forwarded and returned many times within the U.S. Postal Service as Duane Schrock had moved around the country.
It was a Father’s Day card from his estranged gay son. An attempt at reconcilling a relationship that sadly never mended. Schrock’s son died of AIDS-related causes in 1995 at the age of 45.
Hall H at San Diego Comic Con was filled to the brim with some 7,000 fans excited to hear from the cast and crew of the nerd-gasmic web series Con Man on Thursday when the show’s makeup artist Barry Bishop shocked the crowd and panel of stars by proposing to his partner Billy Brooks on-stage.
On July 3 we reported that the ACLU was suing Rowan County, Kentucky clerk Kim Davis for her refusal to issue marriage licenses to gay couples.
This week, a gay couple decided to go try and obtain a license from Ms. Davis and filmed the experience, giving the world a taste of what it looks like to be turned down by a bigoted county clerk and her staff.
Ms. Davis, for her part, has been married four times.
Immediately after the referee blew the final whistle, Team USA’s all-star striker Abby Wambach made a bee line to her wife Sarah Huffman who cheered in the stands. It was a sweet and sincere cap to an amazing victory.
The fact that the game was the most watched soccer game by a U.S. television audience ever was also pretty sweet too.
